My experience at Gold Beach RV Park has exceeded all my expectations! From professional/accommodating owners & hosts, to friendly neighbors who willingly share their ‘excess’ catch, I could not have asked for more. Though small and in-town, I chose Gold Beach RV Park after exploring several along the Oregon Coast that were within reasonable proximity to California, and have had no regrets; it’s surprisingly tranquil, is mostly grass rather than concrete (which I do hope stays this way), and you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean and the harbor horn.

The RV Park borders one of the finest City Parks I’ve seen (would have loved as a kid!), which is a destination in itself for both children and dogs! Despite being “in town,” there’s apple and blackberry groves on site or nearby, wildlife (including deer, osprey and other raptors, and others), and all the conveniences of town within walking distance (minutes, actually). There’s even a service station next door that’s able to assist minor repair (and has the best price on motor coach tires in a 3D-mile radius). Even my experience with the neighboring homeowners has been inviting, warm and friendly!

If you’re here short-term, be sure to walk along the ocean or take a Jet Boat up the Rogue. If you decide to stay for longer than a ‘vacation’ and need to conduct business via the Internet, no worries: in addition to free Wi-Fi, this is one of the few RV Parks along the Southern Oregon Coast where you can have the local cable company connect your RV directly to the fiber optic loop!

The Park is recently under new ownership and began an expansion, so don’t hesitate to call if you’re concerned about accommodating the size/length of your rig (mine’s 38′). My stay has been truly enjoyable; if you’re reading this review, I hope yours is, too!
